Castle of Blackwater is a 2D Social Deduction game set in a magical castle filled with mystery and deception. Up to 10 players are divided into three factions, with each player assigned a unique role that comes with distinct abilities, shaping their playstyle. With 10 unique characters to choose from, players will either complete tasks, form alliances with hidden teammates, or deceive others by pretending to cooperate while secretly sabotaging and eliminating opponents. To master the game, players can explore our fully interactive tutorial, which covers all the essential mechanics and strategies needed to navigate the world of Castle of Blackwater.

Social Deduction is a genre of game in which players attempt to uncover each other's hidden role or team allegiance through communication and perception. By analysing the behaviours and alibi’s of different players, one can slowly find more evidence and build up a case against another player. There is usually a ‘good’ and an ‘evil’ side, in which the good are trying to achieve an objective and the evil are pretending to be good, but secretly eliminating them.

From February 24, 2025, you can play the demo of Castle of Blackwater on Steam during the Steam Next Fest, which runs until March 3, 2025. The full release of the game is scheduled for March 25, 2025, and it will be available in more than 15 languages, including English. During the demo, players will have access to the full interactive tutorial, allowing them to learn every aspect of this in-depth social deduction game. Additionally, multiple game nights will be hosted, giving players the chance to fully experience the game in multiplayer and immerse themselves in the world of Castle of Blackwater. Castle of Blackwater is available in more than 15 languages.

The game Castle of Blackwater will be officially released on March 25, 2025 on Steam. From this date onwards, it will be fully available in more than 15 languages. Before the full release, you can play the demo starting February 24, 2025, during the Steam Next Fest, which runs until March 3, 2025.
